General

Listed below are the guidelines all students will be required to observe in order to participate in the USA College of Engineering ACE Program.

  1. All participants are expected to attend and be punctual for all lectures and field trips. if a student is unable to attend, he or she should call the ACE coordinator at 461-1546 or Dean's Office at 4606140.
  2. Students are to give all lecturers their undivided attention.
  3. Each student is encouraged to maintain at least a "B" average in all courses while participating in the ACE program.
  4. Ace Program participants must conduct themselves in a mature manner at all times while on campus and during field trips

Use of University Facilities and/or Property

  1. The University of South Alabama is committed to a campus free of unlawful drug and alcohol abuse. The unlawful possession, use, distribution, manufacture or dispensation of illicit drugs, controlled substances and alcohol by students and employees on University property or as part of University activities is prohibited. Any ACE student or student in violation of this policy will be dismissed from the program.
  2. No smoking is permitted.
  3. No gum/food is to be brought into the lecture halls or classrooms, except with program coordinator's permission.
  4. No games to toys are to be played during the session.
  5. Students are not permitted to bring radios or headphones sets to the ACE sessions.
